Day 15 and 16 - Tuscany

Tuscany

We are off on our next big drive to Tuscany.  The Dad's have done a good job driving our big car  and we haven't got stuck down any skinny streets yet!

We had a little pit stop along the way at Pisa......we found this tower that looked like it was going to fall over!

Then to our beautiful villa in Tuscany.  We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw our villa and the view over the rolling hills and vineyards.  It was like something out of a movie!

The next day was an awesome day because guess what.....we went horse riding through Tuscany!

Bella's horse was called Maremarana, Maddy's horse was called Ree (nickname King) and Sam's horse was called Ugo.

We had so much fun.  Two of the horses were a bit gassy and kept making rude noises all of the way along.  It was so funny!!!

After the horse riding we went to this really amazing vineyard and the parents did some wine tasting.  The glasses were HUGE!!!  The people at the vineyard were really nice to us and let out the Geese which we chased around.  Bella also got to pop the cork of a champagne bottle with a sword.

We had this really nice Tuscan lunch.....we liked the lasagne the best.

As you can see, Sam was a bit over photos by this point!

After the vineyard we went to this little Medieval village, San Gimignano.  It was so old and very interesting to walk through.  We had the best Gelato ever there.  Apparently this little shop has won world wide awards for having the best gelato....if you ever go to Tuscany you will have to try it!

It was a very big day but a very awesome day.  Here we are, doing our blog to keep you up to date.

Good night everyone!  Only two stops left, Rome and Dubai.  We are starting to get sad that our trip is nearly over.

Day 13 and 14 - Venice

Venice

Today we arrived in Venice. We caught this really cool water taxi to our apartment.  Venice is amazing!  It is built on all of these canals, so you can't drive there, so everyone gets around on boats or Gondoliers.

This is St Mark's square.  It is huge and there are pigeons everywhere.  We walked around the little streets and it is a really pretty city, definitely one of our favourites so far.

We went on a Gondola and it was awesome!  The Gondoliers put there feet up on the buildings to push off if the Gondola gets too close to the walls.

The most special part of our visit to Venice was meeting up with our Poppy's family.  It was really funny because they couldn't speak English, so we had someone to help us to communicate with them.  It was a very happy and emotional day and we will remember our time together with them forever.

We have loved our time in Venice, but after two days we are off to beautiful Tuscany.

We will be in touch soon!

Love Maddy and Bella xox
